1. Who or what is Resortique?

Resortique is a trading brand owned by Dawn Shepheard Limited, a limited company registered in Hong Kong, one of the fashion capitals of the world.

2. Can I trust dealing with Resortique online?

Well, we're bound to say yes. But, in fact, you can. Take a look at Dawn Shepheard's profile on the About Us page. Dawn's founding partner in the project is Paul Fitzgerald (the backroom boy). 3. Are Resortique designs truly exclusive?

What we call the Gypzy family brands - Sea Gypzy, Pearl Gypzy and Night Gypzy - are all, like Resortique, part of the Dawn Shepheard organisation. You really will not find these brands available anywhere else apart from a few top ranking (and we mean 5*+) resorts. Exclusivity is exactly what we're offering.

4. Does Resortique come with ethical credentials?

More and more we'll want to get involved in organisations who can do something to improve our seas and oceans. More on that as we move forward. But on a more immediate note we do not source product from nations with dubious labour practices. You've seen them on the news, so we don't need to comment. All of our products are made or partially made in China and Hong Kong ... and we say that with pride. Dawn Shepheard, our founder, has worked with these same factories under one guise or another, for the past 15 years. She visits our suppliers on a monthly basis and she knows not just the owners but also converses with the production staff on a first name basis. We need to sleep at night, so we will never compromise on this point.

5. What are the benefits of opening account with Resortique?

When you register and create your account with Resortique we'll securely keep track of your information to ensure a simplified checkout process. You'll also be able to store all your addresses, manage your email preferences, check your order history and make returns easier for yourself.

6.  Can I place an order without registering?

Yes, you can. You can bypass registering by selecting guest checkout in the login page during checkout.  But please bear in mind that registering will give you instant access to more information about your order. 

7.  What will you do with my information after I register?

8. What if I forget my password?

No worries. When you go to sign into your account you can tell us you forgot your password and we'll automatically send you a friendly email asking you to reset it.

9. Are Resortique payment methods secure?

Resortique do not, nor do we have any wish to, hold customers bank and/or credit card details. All payments via your Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards are transacted though Stripe. No credit card information is ever stored on our servers. Stripe is one of the most secure and reputable payment processors available. All card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256 and decryption keys are stored on separate machines. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1.
PayPal, as you might expect, has the same levels of top-notch security. BitCoin is also considered to be a safe medium for value transactions.Repeat: In none of the above payment options are Resortique privy to personal bank data.

10. How can I pay for my Resortique order?

First we would like to say that Resortique does not retain any of your banking details ... neither in written nor in electronic form on our servers. We leave that to the experts at PayPal, Stripe and the various credit card companies. For that reason you'll be momentarily directed from our own Resortique website to the appropriate, highly encrypted payment provider ... and then back to us again. The payment options we offer our clients are PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, BitCoin and bank transfer.

Of course you can. We want you to shop at Resortique without any worries on this front. Of course there are certain conditions like you mustn't have worn it ... but that goes without saying. Please click on this link for more details.

15. Is shipping free of charge?

Resortique keeps shipping simple. You'll find more precise details on but here are the headline points.

- For orders of US$150 and above, Registered Air Mail is FREE to our clients worldwide.
- For orders of US$350 and above, Express Courier delivery is FREE worldwide.
- RAM delivery times may take from 3 to 15 days, depending on where you are located.
- Express Courier deliveries should arrive to you in 2 to 7 days depending on location.
- RAM and Express Courier deliveries to China, Macau and Taiwan are FREE of charge.
- Express Courier deliveries to Hong Kong are FREE and take 0 to 1 days to arrive.

16. Can I track my order?

You'll certainly be able to track your shipment where tracking is supplied by the method of delivery (registered delivery can be hit and miss once the shipment is in the hands of your local postal system). You'll also receive periodic updates as to where your order might be. If the delivery is taking longer than reasonable expected please feel free to email us at We'll get onto it for you.

17. What happens if I am not at home to receive the delivery?

If the order was sent by registered airmail you'll probably have a note stuck in your door to say the postman couldn't deliver. As is the norm (and this will vary by Country) this means a quick trip to the post office to retrieve the item (but please do so within 7 days). An Express Courier service will phone you to agree a new delivery time.
Whatever the delivery time, PLEASE ensure you have submitted correct telephone contact details on your account set up.
